The Youth Action Committee is composed of young people who serve in an
advisory role to Justice for Children and Youth.
The purpose of the Youth Action Committee is:
• to raise awareness of the legal rights of young people
• to reach out to our community
• to connect youth to useful resources
• to review materials produced by Justice For Children and Youth for
young people
Our Mission
The Youth Action Committee is a group made up of youth from diverse
backgrounds who bring their unique perspectives to address legal
issues facing youth today.
We believe that youth have a right to be recognized as individuals under

rights and tries to connect them to the useful resources that are
available.
